Quarter-turn mount for Edge 1030 and Virb 30 ?

Anyone know if the Quarter-turn mount at https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/pn/010-12494-00 will work with the Edge 1030 mount which comes with the Edge and wil the Virb 30 be fixed with this? I bought a "no name" GoPro clone cycle mount, but the camera will fall down in that one, making my video interesting (30 minutes of ground view).

a look a like quarter-turn mount is delivered with the varia ut800 light no picture

but do not know for the virb

guess DCR has multiple images on the setup to go through

Here’s the one I’ve been using for years and can wholeheartedly recommend for exactly that combo (1030 and VIRB 30).

I have been using this particular combination with no problem. The adapter you linked to is a GoPro to 1/4 turn adapter. So if your Virb has a go-pro mount on it, this adapter will allow to fix it to the Garmin Out-Front Mount you are referring to.

One review of the K-edge unit says that it's a little short to be able to reach the start/stop button that is now on the bottom edge of the 1030. Do you find that it's a problem? Close to the handlebar, but ok? I need this type of setup and the cheaper Amazon alternatives sound like their plastic mount inserts are not up to spec. Thanks!

It is not the most convenient solution but I find it not a problem. I have Kedge mounts on all my bikes. I don’t like the plastic ones

+1 to K-Edge XL Combo. Been using it for 1030+Fly12CE. The Fly12CE is much heavier than Virb30 and I used carbon paste at the gopro mount to fix the Fly12CE angle. No issue thus far.

I find no problem clicking the 1030 buttons.
