Soon answer sms with an iPhone

actually to send a sms directly possible only with androïd device.

It doesn’t work with iOS 11 on iPhone.

Can you tell me if this function will planified later ?

My friend as the same device an Edge 1030 coupled with Samsung Galaxy, it works very well.

i’m prefer to keep my iPhone 8, i hope this function will be developped as soon as possible.

When you receive a call you can directly answer with your Edge 1030 with precorded sms message.

This isn't something that Garmin can implement ... Apple does not allow apps to interact with the the phones messaging function. There currently is no API available to do that in iOS.

At this point, the best you can do is request that functionality from Apple ... so that application providers can leverage it.

Thank you for your reply. However, I think that myself as a single customer I will not have much weight or influence at Apple. While a company like Garmin who asks for it will be much more listened to.
