Bkool power data error

Dear all,

I have seen a similar topic in the Edge 1000 but not in the Edge 1030. I use a Bkool Pro connected as a Trainer at the moment.

The other day I did a 1 hour Velodrom and the power that is recorded in my Edge 1030, has a lot of drops (half the real values) in a flat and constant route. By the other way the data recorded on the Bkool simulator itself is smoth and constant

The result is that the average power in the Edge is 118 W and the recorded on Bkool is 138 W.

There is any solution to this? I have read the topic of the Edge 1000 but I didn´t findn´t anything, although may be it´s because my poor English and general knowledge.

Kind Regards
  • Hello,

I have the exact problem for over 2 years since I have Bkool Pro trainer. I have Edge 1000. I had the trainer 2 times in Spain for warranty repair already. But every time it came back the same. I e-mailed the Bkool people several times afterwords but eventually they said that everything from their side is OK.

I spoted this post a couple of days ago and immediatelly contacted Bkool about it and said that they should tell me how to update it on 3.16. They responded that newest ist 3.25 and I should update it.

They told me how to update and I did. Or better said I tried. The app told me that my current firmware is 3.16 and that this is the newest and I am up to date. So I assume that the last time the trainer was in Spain at Bkool, they have updated it on this "supposed to be solution" 3.16 firmware, but the issue with power error persists.

I contacted them again, but have no reponse since. Looks like they will ignore me again.

I am so angry, and demanded a new trainer as this is killing my nerves.

Do you perhaps have any solution for me?
