Di2 battery level (bug?)

Firstly, loving the 1030, having upgraded from a 520. No major issues to report, just a little one....
Anyone having success with the Di2 battery level being shown on their 1030?
Used to work with the 520, but not on the brand new 1030.. I'm just getting a ?, on the 520 it was giving me a percentage (I think, can't check now because I gave the 520 away) ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1277505.jpg

Battery display works on my unit. In saying that I had a ticket open with Garmin around the Di2 unit not connecting with the 1030 automatically and then once connected the Di2 icon continued to flash on the top line.

Deleting and re-adding the Di2 sensor seems to have fixed the issue.

For me it's working also! Don't think the correct one is "gear battery", I'll check on mine, but pretty sure it's the wrong field.

Agree it should be 'Di2 Battery' not gear battery.

I actually used the words “ Di2 Battery in this thread’s title, and yet that’s not what i selected.

One thing that Garmin changed in build 3.58 (public beta) is that the data field Gear Battery/Di2 Battery will now dynamically change to what ever system you are connected to so that people do not hit this problem.

Just out of curiosity, what is "Gear Battery" for then?

Gear Battery is for any electronic shifting system that supports the ANT Shifting standard. (Note Shimano Di2 uses a private ANT implementation and does not use the ANT Shifting standard)

Systems that have implemented the ANT Shifting protocol include SRAM eTap and Campagnolo EPS.
