after few days of use I've seen 1030 temp value are constantly higher than real (and 520/1000 too). This difference is about 4 'C. A little few at about 25 'C (3,5 'C), and a little more near 0'C (4,5'C). Today I put 1000 and 1030 in refrigerator and they red 5.0/9.6 'C
Another way is to pair tempe sensor with 1030 ! Why is not possible ?
Sounds like an overly-complicated solution adding unnecessary expense, when the Edge already has the feature built in. Garmin should just fix the problem, and they say they're working on it anyway.
I reported several issues with 3.74 to the beta team - and I asked for temperature-issue, too. They answered: We have an improvement for temperature coming very soon! :)
I updated to 3.77 last night and have been checking the temperature all today against a calibrated thermometer from work. Apart from taking 30 minutes to read a large temperature change such as going outside it reads +/- 0.3 C of accurate when testing at -9 C, 3 C, 6 C, 17 C and 23 C. A vast improvement. Thanks.
