I was able to "test" the unit without meaning to. I went over a small bump at the edge of the driveway, then stopped quickly because the garage door hadn't opened completely. That was enough to set the unit off! I no longer have incident detection running (I may start it up when I go on a long ride).

Drive with your bike over a cobblestone section and then stop suddenly.
