Multiple Bike & Sensors

I know that I have a problem, but I have seven bikes each with their own speed & cadence sensor, some with Di2 and some with power meters. Before I go through the hassle of adding the sensors, does anyone know how many sensors I can add to the Edge and how many can be concurrently connected?

Yes you can. Just backup the Garmin\Settings\settings.fit file.

To restore it after a reset place it in the Garmin\NewFiles folder.

The same for the screen layouts. Backup all the files in the Garmin\Sports…

I believe that the 1030 increased the sensor pool size to 30 senors with support for 8 concurrent sensors.

I currently have 6 bikes, each with their own cadence and speed. Plus one extra wheel set with speed.
(13 sensors)
I also have two heart rate sensors, one PowerPod powermeter, and one remote
(+4 sensors)
So I'm at 17 right now and haven't hit a limit.

I'd also be curious to know if there is any possible way to back up the sensor settings, as I re-named all of mine. I like to do a factory reset after firmware update (I pretty much HAD to on the 1000). But I didn't have sensors at the time. I'm assuming it can't be done, for security reasons or whatever.

The sensor limit is 20. I'm at 19 and if I try to add my time trial bike I can only add one more before it say's I have to many. Lucky for me I us my 820 for that bike because of the smaller size

I'm sorry about the incorrect information I posted in an earlier replay. The sensor pool limit is 20.

I put in a request to Garmin to increase their sensor pool size beyond 20 devices.
