My E1000 works flawlessly with SRAM ETap, showing gear positions and ETap battery levels. Thinking about upgrading to the E1030 but want to make sure it is syncing properly with SRAM ETap. So, is anyone using the E1030 with ETap and how is it working? Thank you.
I'm having no issues at all with the 1030 and etap. They work great. You will notice that as the batteries on the etap get low you will start to lose the connection between the two. My other 2 bikes have Di2 and work good as well.
The Edge 1030 is working fine with my eTap as well. Also working fine with my PowerTap P1 pedals.
I haven't used it yet on my Di2-equipped bike. I'm hoping it does better than my Edge 1000 at picking up all the sensors when I switch it between bikes.
My 1030 with FW 7.50 is still working without problem with SRAM eTap - haven't seen any dropouts. I have two bikes with eTap and no problem with either and the 1030.
Try removing both eTap batteries for more than 5 minutes to let the unit reset then put the batteries back. Spin the cranks, shift the rear and front and then try again. You may need to keep the eTap awake by spinning the cranks every 30 seconds if you are not riding the bike.
