I had loaded a course prior to my ride, and chose to ride to the start of the course from home. On the navigation screen, I chose the "navigate to start"option, which got me correctly to the start of the ride. However, once the ride on the course began, the navigation display took me to a standard map without any course. I'm assuming that, because the start and end of the ride were at the same location, the unit assumed that I'd made it to the end of the ride and ended the course. I was expecting that, because I hadn't yet ridden the course and because I'd navigated to the start, that the unit would have recognized that it should continue with the programmed route when I started riding it after leaving the start location.
