Open water GPS tracking during charging

Do you want to charge and swim at the same time? I would say that it is not a good idea in the water. Maybe in a tow float its ok.

p.s.: just a quick try showed that parallel charging and recording is possible with Swim2

PG i wanted to track an open water event (world record attempt) of 120km swim in Danube river.
The watch was on the boat, but not in the water. When I enable a power bank to watch it looks like the device start charging, but  after 5-10min the power bank switches OFF, that means that watch disable the charging process.
Conclusion for me was that watch is not able to track an activity during charging (firnware 3.10)
Even connected to the power bank the wach turned off after about 8h with no more power left in its battery. 
Fortunately we had on the board another trackers which managed to track the full swim.
It was successfully completed in 18h 01min, 120km of non stop swim in Danube river.
We are awaiting for ratification of this World Record ... :)
