I noted that since some days the User Interface on my Garmin Swim 2 is a little different. Probably a bug? I have now the firmware version 3.10.
I have created on Garmin Connect (the online App) some programs for pool swim workout. Of course made of several different Steps, Pauses, Repetitions.
Since a week ago when the program arrived to a repetition was shown as "Pr: 8x100m Free style (0:20)". Than pressing the button Lap after each one was shown like "1/8".
Now is shown the next step without specify if is part of a Repetition or is a single Step. The workout is working but the old style was much better in my opinion.
I tried to load an old workout program created with the same App but a couple of months ago and is working faine, showing the repetitions as "Pr: 8x100m Free style (0:20)".
For that reason I believe is mostly a Garmin Connect bug. Are you experiencing the same issue?
I noted even a second bug: If I select fort a Step or a Repetition a distance not multiple of 100m, is rounded to the 100m in Garmin Connect. For example I select 50m is shown as 100m. Or if I select 150m is shown 200m. The total distance and even the Step in Swim 2 is working fine, so maybe is only a graphic problem.
