swim 2 update 3.1

Hi

 my swim 2 is 4 years old and i got the update to 3.1 over garmin express.

 The swim 2 try to update from 2.9 to 3.1 every hour, but it doesn't work.

  Any idea whats wrong with my swim 2.

  I have done a full reset. but update doesnt work.

    thanks for your help, but nothing works.

      - i delete everything with a console program

      - i made many resets

      - freespace is 5MByte

      i destinalled garmin express complite

     garmin express also the iphone, download the new version 

     --> the only thing what the update process does - updating timezone and nothing else. the version is still 2.90

     but the swim2 will make update all the time. i have to start the update. because the clock "ask" for updating

    I do not have a Swim 2, but do you have the option on this unit to have "auto Update " Off?

    Maybe its under Settings > Software Update
