Code 65535

During open water swims I keep getting an alert on my Garmin Swim 2.

It makes a tone, vibrates, and a black banner at the top of the screen shows with a picture of a swimmer and the numbers 65535.

This happens very frequently and seemingly for no reason. I have a hunch it relates to a drop out of signal, however it also shows when I'm stood on the beach with a clear view of the sky.

It is incredibly annoying and presumably is an error code.

If it is because of a GPS drop out, then I'm really disappointed having bought this specific watch due to the excellent reviews of users saying that the accuracy was excellent.

Can anyone shed any light?
