Incorrect round distance in open water swimming of 457 meters instead of 500

I have a weird issue with my Garmin Swim 2 with all updates applied.

In open water swimming it records and counts the rounds consistently as 457 meters instead of 500 meters.

I am not sure if distance recorded is really 457 meters or 500.

Anyone experienced the same problem and what are possible steps to get this sorted?

Just a hint:

500 yards equals 457 meters. So you probably have autolap set to 500 yards, and in garmin connect it is displayed in meters.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply and guess that was the missing puzzle piece.

I found below article now when searching with your hint:

In there its stated:

- In open water, even if the units are set to metric, the distance, and distance alerts are displayed in yards.. Solution is to go to settings, units, select statute, then select meters again.

So have made he change and will give it another try tomorrow and provide feedback if that sorted out the issue.
