Garmin Swim 2 extra length added

During pool swim, the Garmin Swim 2 adds a extra length occasionally. For example, I swim 1250 yards in a 25 yard pool, and the watch records 1275 yards. I can edit out the extra length in Garmin Connect app, but I want to delete the extra lap when it occurs during the swim.

Is there a way to delete the extra length during pool swing?

I stated that I want to delete the extra lap when it occurs using the watch, not later in software. It's easy to edit out the extra lengths, after the fact, using software.

Then the answer is a clear no! BTW, there is no Garmin watch what is able to do that. I guess that there is not any fitness watch capable of that.
