I have had this happen a couple of times. My workout has a drill log. I start the log and do my drill. When I am finished I press the Lap button. I then see a triangle on the screen and the watch goes to my main screen. The workout seems to have ended. If I then continue swimming and then save, I find the first part of my workout has been saved, but not the drill portion. I have to add that manuially if I want to record it.
It is an intermittent problem. Most of the time it works fine.
