Ciclocomputer and watch

How my watch(garmin swim 2) can sync with a ciclocomputer( a Edge fron Garmin)? I want to buy one, they can work togheter? When a ride is done, in garmin conect app to show 1 ride, with information for both

If you record with both untis simultaneously you will have 2 activities in garmin connect.

Not sure why you would want to record with both, but in case it's to use your heart rate wrist monitor while you ride you can choose to broadcast your hr from your watch to your edge.

When you have trueup enabled the ride info will be transferred to your swim2 device so that it can be taken into account for your training load.
