Swim 2 Bluetooth was working and now won’t pair with IPhone.

Anyone else having this issue? I did all of the troubleshooting techniques on Garmin Connect App and on Garmin Website and no luck. Less than one week in my possession. Bummed. Looks like I will have to return it.

  • I get this about every 8-10th activity, to solve first I try to turn off bluetooth on iphone and back on, sometimes that works but more often than not I have to turn off the watch then back on, this feels a little scary as it takes awhile before it will come back on, then everything works again and uploads. Its done this from day one.

    Thanks. I tried your suggestions and all troubleshooting techniques on the Garmin site. The only thing that worked was factory resetting the phone, which I had to do several times a day. I ended up just returning the watch. 

  • Don't pair GS2 with the iPhone in the phone's settings! In this case the app will not be able to find the phone. Remove GS2 from the paired devices in the phone settings. Start the mobile app on the iPhone and pair GS2 with the iPhone in the mobile app. Afterward maybe you'll see GS2 in the iPhone's settings, but this is ok.
