Pool swim - Length - showing only after 10 19 29 38 etc? and not after each pool

Why the pool length not shown after each pool.In my old 735 i see it changes after each pool  letting me know exactly where i am but on the swim 2 it is changing only once in 9 or 10 pools making difficult to know when you are at your goal
