Wait for GPS

When I start outdoor swimming or running, the display seems to be stuck on "Wait for GPS". However, if I press start after a few mins, then distance accumulates as expected at the correct position I pressed start. So the watch appears to be synced to GPS, even though it suggests not.

I happens regardless of what combination of GPS / GLONASS / GALLILEO I select.

For what it's worth, on my 920xt, GPS is available after about 10 secs normally.

Any suggestions?

Same for me, and I thought this is why when I swim in the sea I get distance readings on a map - but they seam very inaccurate
(i.e I start the swim on a spot on-shore, and finish at the same spot - but the path shown later on the map is shifted into the sea, and shoe\ws an open path and not a loop - so it does not start and end in the same spot).

I wonder if it works better / OK for anybody with Garmin Swim 2?
