Normally when charging from a USB adapter there is an overlay or banner covering the top third or so of the screen that shows a charging symbol in monochrome and the battery percentage.
I started charging my watch after the evening report front screen was showing and before I had looked at the report.
Each time I plugged the charger in the banner briefly appeared and then the battery symbol appeared in green without any indication that the watch was still charging, whereas I expected the banner to remain for as long as the charger is connected.
This would be fine if the Garmin charging cables were 100% reliable and always connect, but this behaviour makes it difficult to know whether the watch is actually charging.
Seems like a bug.
Anyone else observed this?
