"Smart Wake" alarm has never gone off early

Question

I have my smart wake alarm set for 5:50am each weekday. It has never gone off before 5:50, even if I'm awake and moving around. Is this a known bug?

Colin Thank you for reaching out! Garmin is currently in the process of releasing new software for the Forerunner 970 (SW v16.28). I recommend manually prompting that update by using Garmin Connect, Garmin Express, or Wi-Fi.
