Skiing mode is a complete joke 15.52

Even though the watch detects the start and end of each run pretty well (it "clicks" reliably on the device itself and everything looks okay on the watch), the activity file uploaded to the Garmin Connect app is totally random — runs and lifts get mixed up. On the watch screen for the summary of runs… there is no total downhill distance at all (only total time is shown).

Have you paused during the activity? In my experience from the past week the runs are tracked just fine by the watch. It's just the map that shows garbage after resuming from a pause.

Ive got similar on the map. 3 of the runs (multiple times) it classes as lift despite being 500m or so constant descents.

However, they DO seem to count as runs in terms of distance and vertical stats - to me it looks like the map is out not the rest.

Another update here and testing 16.28 and can confirm this bug.

If you use pause at all, or pause and "resume later" runs are that are classed as lift on the map.
