I have a question regarding how to wash the watch. I recently got a Forerunner 970 and I've been doing what I always do: rinsing the watch after every run. After rinsing, I shake the watch gently, activate the water ejection mode for the microphone (I do this using the buttons while the watch is still damp), and then let it dry. My question: can I press the buttons freely even though the watch is still damp? (I assume so, because if it's raining I also press the buttons, but I wanted to confirm). Another question: while I am rinsing it, can I press the buttons or not? (On my previous watches, I used to do this after swimming in the sea because of the salt). I'm asking this because the Forerunner manual explicitly says to avoid pressing the buttons when submerged (I know that rain or rinsing is not the same as being submerged, but I wanted to be sure). Thanks!
