Lap Button Double Press Issue During Swim Workouts

A single press of the lap button was interpreted as two presses numerous times during my most recent swim workout. Annoying to skip right past my 40 second rest! Anybody else have this issue with their 970? I'm concerned this could be hardware issue. Thanks!

I'm having the same issue. I have mostly about 2x the issue with my structured swim workouts from Training Peaks where I press the lap button and then the rest period is skipped. Sometime I also skip the main interval because of this button issue. My initial idea was that I pressed it to long, but then really focussed to press it short and once. But somehow happy I'm not the only one having this issue. Wondering about the sponsored athletes wearing a FR970, they must also get this issue or is it a hardware issue?
