i have been running with my 970 since launch. I was in a new place last week for Thanksgiving and went for a 10 mile run. At some point i went off the course i had made, and i could not get the watch to calculate a route back to my starting point. It just kept giving me an error that it could not calculate a route. I am not sure why, it was just a residential neighborhood with normal roads.
I usually don't run with my phone but that day i did bring it, so i just used that to figure out where i was and how to get back (was only a few miles from he starting point).
I didn't want to stop the run and start it over again, because i kept hoping it would be able to navigate me back to the start.
has this ever happened to anyone else?
Not exactly confidence inspiring.
