Hello Garminers!
I have Garmin Venu 2 plus and Garmin 970.
On Venu 2 plus - During an activity (like run) I can long press the top right button - controls (round menu with lots of short cuts) appears - and here I have a "phone call" item. So, I can make phone calls from the watch during the run
On 970 - I can call when not in activity as described in the manual. Press top right - go to "Phone". But, controls menu (top left - long press) does not have "call phone" item. So, during activity I can not start a call. Only way I can do it is by using "Voice Assistant". During run voice commands don't work very well- noisy environment and heavy breathing!! Someone also suggested that I can pause and use "resume later" and then access the call menu from the top right button. But, that is very dumb! Why can't we have "Call Phone" option in controls menu like we have in Venu 2 Plus?
When you do allow both incoming and outgoing calls during activity (out using voice command) - then why not make it easier by adding it to controls menu and also may be allowing to setup shortcut button (like long press some button)
Thanks
