Alert Frequency - 1 min, 2 min, 3 min...10 min, lap
Some interval training sessions may involve running for 1 minute followed by 3 minutes of recovery, or running for 40 seconds with 3 minutes of rest. During these intervals, heart rate can fluctuate significantly within just one minute.
Having heart rate alerts set to notify only once per minute fails to provide meaningful feedback. Given the high intensity of these workouts, it's also inconvenient to constantly check the watch.
Could you add shorter heart rate alert intervals, such as 10/15/20/30/40 seconds? This would make it much easier to track heart rate changes during interval training.
Even during steady-paced runs, heart rate can vary considerably within a minute—sometimes by dozens of BPM. For example, it might be 130 BPM, rise to 150 BPM after 30 seconds, and then drop back to 130 BPM in the next 30 seconds. With one-minute alerts, the voice alerts may appear unchanged, while in reality, it has already gone through significant fluctuations.
Shorter alert intervals would greatly improve usability.
(I'm aware of max/min heart rate alerts, but what we need during intervals is the ability to shorten the alert frequency.)
