Decreasing HRV

The values HRV have been dropping lower and lower each day since mid-September, when I installed the update 12.72 on my FR 970 watch. I feel great, I’m neither overtrained nor sick. Many watch users have reported the same issue with decreasing HRV. As a result, it keeps affecting other metrics as well, such as training readiness, etc.

This happened to me during August this year. I had low values for more than 2 weeks and then it went back to normal values. This changed my baseline from ~85-100 to ~75-115, making it too wide to detect low or high values. Now, it's getting back to the previous range but it's taking a while.

From June until mid-September, my values were in the green and still at a baseline of ~96-117 ms, but the day after the watch update, my baseline started to decrease, as did my HRV values. Currently, the baseline is at 90-111 ms, and the HRV values have been outside the set range for two months, with occasional exceptions.

I have the same problem. I don’t know if it’s because of me or if it’s the watch or maybe the update in September.
