I recently purchased a 970 to replace my 965 but the watch seems to dim in dark places. I have a hard time reading smaller numbers. I was not aware of this until I bought it. I seem to have gone back to my 965. I wish there was a way or setting to change this. I love the flashlight the sapphire lens and brightness but this one thing makes it an issue. I rather charge my watch every other day than not being able to use it in the dark. If someone reads this in garmin plz consider an update where at least we can choose what setting we want. The 970 is sitting in the box right now I am still debating whether to keep it or not and that is disappointing.
