Watch and Garmin Connect shows that last backup was made today at 2:33 PM.

But restore offers backup made 14 Oct 12:20 AM. And it always offer me this backup on watch loading and connecting to Garmin Express.

I've started using FR 970 on Friday 9 Oct, restored settings from my old FR 955. On Tuesday I saw blue triangle on FR 970, and I had to do full reset, and I ignored restoring settings and set it up from clean.

I have on my watch Debug\err_log.bak and Debug\dump\ram.zip

How to delete old backup?

    There is not a way to delete a backup, but you can manually create a backup:

    1. Hold UP/MENU (middle-left button).

      • On watches with two buttons, press the top right button.

    2. Scroll to or select Settings.

    3. Select System.

    4. Select Back Up & Restore or Restore & Reset.

    5. Select an option.

      • Automatic Backups toggles whether a backup gets created daily automatically.

      • Back Up Now creates a backup immediately. Under this option it will list when the last backup was created.

    If you select Back Up Now, the watch will create a backup file and will show Upload Pending instead of the date of the last backup until the watch syncs with your Garmin Connect account.
