I'm pretty sure FR 970 is showing wrong lap pace, especially on treadmill. For example, I have created a training 5x2km at 3:55 min/km pace, on the screen im tracking both lap pace and current pace. I'm barely ever hitting 4:00 min/km in current pace and lap pace is almost all the time over 4mins, if i get like 3:58 it's a success.
Funny thing is that i go as low as 3:50 and lap pace will still be at around 4 mins or just a little bit under. If I keep the pace between 3:55 and 4:00 can get average at around 4:06-08.
As you can imagine this is frustrating when you are trying to complete training at certain pace as you don't really know which one is correct. I focus on current pace, as long as i dont get alerts for too high or low pace i consider it fine.
I was doing same workouts on FR255 and haven't run into this issue a single time. Did anyone else experience this?
