I got a new 970 and am comparing it to my 955 on runs. I usually do a 10 mile trail run once a week and wear both watches , one on each arm. When I wear the 970 on my right armand the 955 on the left the 970 shows around 2 tenths longer and if I wear the 955 on the right arm and the 970 on the left , they both will show roughly the same mileage. I’ve swapped several times with each watch on different arms and have had the same results each time . I even swapped last week at 5 miles in and the 970 was a tenth ahead and then after switching arms the 970 stayed a tenth ahead the rest of the run and stopped gaining the roughly .02 each mile. Has anyone else noticed this? I normally wear my watch on my right arm when I’m only wearing one. Both watches are on the same settings . I’m using the run setting , record every second, all+multiband.
