AOD not working since 12.72

The update fixed the hot keys/shortcut issues with sleep mode activation, but now my AOD isn’t working. Hilariously, it works for a moment with a third party watch face before turning off, but Garmin official faces just turn off. I checked AOD and it’s turned on in settings. 

There clearly seems to be an issue with AOD because in the theatre focus mode, the screen doesn’t turn off, again, even though it is turned off in the focus settings.

I’m over being a beta tester for a £629 flagship watch, and I’m sticking with my AWU2. It’s not perfect, but it’s reliable and reliability is huge. Each update introduces more problems, and I seem to have gotten off lightly compared to others.

    I have not the impression hot key/shortcut issue around sleep mode has been solved….. the problem is still there

    Update: AOD is now working. I left it on standby for a few days (I’m switching back to my Ultra full time) and it suddenly was working again. Turning off the sleep focus mode works, apart from when you want to turn it off with the shortcut in the morning after sleep

    I faced with proble, that in case when I stand in a dark or not very bright room, or just in very cloudy weather outside, the Always on Display mode  starts to flicker strongly, approximately, with random rate. Looks like as if some light sensor is failing. and from my observations it started After the update to 12.70. Upgrading to 12.72 didn't fix anything. Use default and custom watchfaces, nothing changes.

    But, e.g. if open any settings menu and press Light button - display little bit dimmed (expected), but without flickering. Thanks garmin for unstable software for a 700 euro.
