Unlock buttons triggering long press action

Only noticed this since latest 12.70 SW update, whenever I unlock the buttons on my 970 it also triggers that button's long press action. Am I the only one?

Yes, but what also is happening (don't happen on FR965 and earlier) is that whatever button you press to unlock takes you to that buttons menu as if you had pressed it without the lock function turned…

On all earlier Forerunners you always got back to the same screen you are seeing when you press any button to unlock. Garmin, please fix this!

So it seems Garmin's solution to this issue was to delete button locking altogether. Madness. I am sure I am not the only one that needed that feature; buttons now get triggered accidentally in normal daily life. Does anyone at Garmin actually use their products???
