I've been fortunate, up until now, with not having any issues with my FR970. About 30 minutes ago, I felt it vibrate, and seen the blue triangle. Thinking it's restarting, I waited, but never came back. I held the top left button until triangle disappeared, triangle came right back. I held the button for 30 - 40 seconds, apparently watch shutdown. I restarted as usual, but now, after not having any issues, I have nothing but a blue triangle.
I assumed at some point I would get the firmware update, but also assumed it would ask about install and reboot, but none of that happened. Was it possibly attempting the firmware update, and failed? Garmin, HELP! Gonna power down for now.
