Charging connector rash skin

Changed material of the charging connection? I used to have a 935 and 945 which were fine but now I develop a rash right under the charging connector. Any advice would be appreciated.

are any of the fenix watches or older watches use different material?

Try an old toothbrush with some mild detergent on the whole back of the watch, including the chasm around the charge port, rinse dry and see how it goes. It may well be a costing on the pins from factory.
