I had this as well. I just went to the event on the Calendar in the Connect app and selected three-dots -> Send to Device and that fixed it (once I synced).

My upcoming race dissappeared, however it's still showing in garmin connect app.. Other then thay no issues found (yet).

That’s ridiculous. You need to call them back and complain. They should offer to replace your watch.

what kind of smart head approved this software as stable??

does anyone from Garmin even test the software before releasing it? It's shameful

After the 12.70 update the display can be activated with a gesture, but it turns off again after just one second.
It cannot be activated by touch.
When connected to the USB-C cable, both the display and touch functions work without any issues.
Several factory resets have been performed, but they did not solve the problem.

Voice announcements quit working for all activities. System announcements still work. No longer receive pace and heart rate voice announcements when running on my connected devices or when I switch it over to the watch speaker in settings. It used to work before the update. I exchanged it for a new one and after it updated, it does the same thing. No voice announcements.
