Breathing Variations Detection Issue

My recently purchased FR 970's breathing variations detection varies, some mornings I see the data in sleep page but on others, it does not detect and generate data at all. Although Pulse OX is on and generating data regularly, this morning I noticed that although I see a reading value for Pulse OX on my watch, I don't see it in Garmin Connect app (see the attached screen shot) Any idea why?

Thank god someone from Garmin has reached out. The 970 is full of bugs since launch. I’ve returned mine.

Thank you both for your participation in this thread. Can you please confirm the following?

Your watch has the latest software installed (currently that is 6.17)
The Garmin Connect app is up to date. (Check your app store for updates.)
Pulse Ox is enabled for Sleep Mode or All-Day Mode. (settings > health and wellness)
What country you are located in.
If we have permission to contact you directly.

Hi Garmin-Maeve

Yes everything is up to date. Until recently the watch was recording breathing variations. After a crash saving e-biking it no more records it. I have Pulse OX while sleeping on and I am getting readings. I do not know if the crash/restart is relevant.

I am in Germany and yes you can contact me directly.

I soft restart the watch (holding light button for 20 sec.) and will check again today.

I’ve been dealing with the exact same issues. The breathing variations on seems to generate data randomly.

Your watch has the latest software installed (currently that is 6.17) - Yes.
The Garmin Connect app is up to date. (Check your app store for updates.) Yes - iOS
Pulse Ox is enabled for Sleep Mode or All-Day Mode. (settings > health and wellness) - Yes, I’ve flipped the “on/off” switch multiple times.
What country you are located in. - USA
If we have permission to contact you directly - Yes.

Same problem with 6,18 too from Italy. All activated as suggested. Variations are displayed with dicontinuity
