UI stuck on the "pause screen"

I had a run and pause an activity for a few minutes, but after that press to any options(Resume, Resume Later, Save), Start(unpause) or Back button. just trigger the animation(unwind) but not any real actions, and animation unwind to the same "pause screen" - so basically press to any anything cause a recursion on the screen. 

After the restart the watch it start to work again. 

Software version: 6.17

When I mean "pause screen", I mean this:

    This happend to me last weekend, when I did 3 runs, in 3 days, all of them have activity length around 7-10 hours. After approx 5 hours of record, there started problems. Resume was super slow, even worse it whas if I put watch into Resume later state (trought longer food break etc.) It was super slow and took minutes (1-3) to unblock watch. Once it was even worse and watch was stucked with black screen (it was second day in the activity finish but I paused and not saved yet), than watch was "freezed" around 15 minutes. Finally after unstuck, all the activities I was able to save, but its really really bad experience for longer activities. My previous Fenix 6s Pro doesnt have this problem.

    Happened to me after 13km intervals, after holding power button and reboot watch it luckily booted into the activity which was able to be saved. One of next common SW bugs nice ...

    970s freezing up is happening to others as well. Hopefully it's just one problem and not many. Come on Garmin, where's at least an update to attempt and address this?
