Water ejection change the volume of system sounds (Swimming Activity)

I haven't found this specific bug posted before, and since public pools are quite busy with the current weather it would be great to get this fixed

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start a pool swimming Activity with system sound volume set to low
  2. Pause the activity
  3. Save or discard the activity


Observed behaviour:

  • Save / discard sound is played in the highest volume before the water ejection frequency is played
  • When starting a new swim after discarding (without leaving the activity) the start & follow-up sounds are also played at the highest volume
  • After leaving the activity the sounds are played in the right volume until the next water ejection


Expected behaviour:

  • All system sounds except the water ejection frequency should be respect the user configured system sounds volume
  • it has nothing to do with the water ejection, (lovely write up by the way).

    the use configured system sound volumes are ignored regardless after a brief (as yet unknown) period of time.

    Multiple issues about this raised on here. (I flagged it yesterday and was told the same)

    This is 100% reproducible for me without any unknown waiting time / user interaction to trigger it.

    I'm sure there are tons of other bugs when it comes to sounds (and general things), so I just want to make sure that this one is not missed.
