Hello Garmin team,
I would like to request that the tides mini-widget be made available on 970. Is extremely useful for planning open water swimming sessions, especially in coastal areas where tidal changes significantly affect safety and swim conditions.
Having real-time tidal information directly on the watch helps swimmers make informed decisions and avoid dangerous conditions. It’s already implemented in some models, so I believe it could be added to Forerunner 970.
Please consider adding the Tides widget as a standard or optional feature via Connect IQ or firmware update. It would be greatly appreciated by those of us who regularly swim in the sea or train near the coast.
