There is a slight one yes. Not sure why it matters but if it does to you then just scroll down to "Go to Data Screens" press to enter the screens then start the activity from there.

Jist found you can swipe left from the the start screen to reach the data screens too..
same problem here. Also the 970 takes a long time (lags) when pausing or restarting an activity. I accidentally paused again because I thought the button was not pressed as the delay was quite long (about 2-3 seconds). I didn't experience this neither in the 965 nor the Fenix 8. The responsiveness there was faster.
