Battery life - better than expected?

According to DC Rainmaker, the official battery chart for the FR970 is based on default brightness settings.

As soon as you turn down the brightness, battery life becomes much better. Quote: "For fun, on a 4hr hike this past Friday, I turned down the brightness to the lowest levels (still brighter than a Fenix 8, for reference), and with full navigation enabled (with route loaded including ClimbPro) got 30 hours with optical, SatIQ, and still LiveTrack:"

This is super interesting. Because if 30 hours are possible in this configuration, it would be even more with GPS only and without navigation. Maybe this would bring us to e.g. Fenix 7S levels? (37h GPS only).

Can anybody confirm these findings?
