Forerunner 970 watch command not working

Any time I attempt to use the watch command, it either just spins for a bit and then closes or one time I told it to set a timer for 1 minute and it pulled up the fish activity.

Is there a setting I am missing? I have it set to English-Us.

seems quite hit and miss too. 1/3 or 1/4 of the times it works for me. usually just exits with nothing. no prompts and no actions.

Voice Commands and Phone Commands still don't seem to do anything for me.

Has anyone gotten them to work consistently?
