Reboot on Activity Save

Today after finishing my activity the watch rebooted when saving the activity.  The watch is running the latest firmware 6.17.  The activity was a workout from my Garmin Coach plan.  I choose the save option on the activity and I have self evaluation set to on.  I entered my perceived exertion and then directly after entering feeling level is when it rebooted.  The activity was saved on the watch and was synced after the reboot.

It appears even though the event synced some metrics appear to not be updating correctly.  Recovery time is not accurate as it is currently 0 on the watch but 37 on connect.   Acute Load on the watch is 750 but connect is 456.  The last activity glance on the watch is showing my activity from yesterday but if you select it you scroll to see activities from this week and today's activity is listed.

  • I am experiencing sporadic watch reboots during the saving process or runs as well. I will sometimes run past the Garmin Coach suggested run, everything logs fine, but then the watch reboots itself when I hit save. I'm not sure if the software likes that I am not staying specifically within the workout parameters or what. Like the original poster, my metrics appear to be carrying over, with the exception of some oddities like acute load and other daily workout development metrics act like I did not do the run at all. The watch shows the last activity as the run prior to today's run, however when I go.through the run log today's run is actually in there. All in all it looks like for training program purposes within the Garmin system it is like I never did the run, however the run data is actually there. Obviously this is an ongoing software glitch. I hope we can get this sorted out soon. I use the Fenix 7X Pro. It seems like several models are affected based on what I am seeing in other forums.
