FR970 Charger Not Working

I’ve charged several times so far without issue, but this morning the charger snapped into place but didn’t register it was charging. Different USB-C port didn’t help. I tried disconnecting/reconnecting from the watch and wall several times also didn’t help. Wiggling the connector on the watch side a few times worked then stopped charging. Eventually I got it to a sweet spot where it charged. I didn’t see anyone else report this issue, so maybe my watch or charger has an issue?

The cable is probably at fault.
The watch is too new to have any problems with the contacts.

Following up on this, the charger started working again and hasn’t had an issue the past few weeks. Maybe was a firmware detection bug? Or maybe a reboot fixed it?

I am having this issue now - FR970 is not charing. I purchased it new 2 months ago and typically charge it one each week, This week the watch did not charge,. I've cleaned the contact points, tried a different cable, tried a restart several times, different charging ports on my computer, tried a portable power pack, tried plugging it into the wall, tried wiggling the cable, and nothing has made a difference. I still have several days battery life left, but will soon be really needing to charge it. Suggestions?

No idea, since mine self corrected. I also swapped to a cable with a right-angle connector at the watch end. $9 off Amazon for a 2-pack and has been SO much better than the stock straight cable and allows seeing the watch face and not sitting the watch on its face to charge.
