The only complaint (con) of the 970 that I can think of is
The button sound and the sound when you start running.
All the Garmin Forerunners I've owned have made the same sound

When I stood at the starting line of a marathon, I felt a sense of kinship when I heard the same Garmin sound from my watch with other runners all around, and I thought it was Garmin's heritage
However, the 970 lost its heritage
The sound of the 970 is just the sound of a smartphone
I want to hear Garmin's traditional sound, even if it's not the old 8-bit sound (even if it uses high resolution)
We are runners, and give us back the sound that is the identity of Forerunner users!
