The draining is 4x times higher without any activities requiring GPS nor any otehr changes to the setup of the watch. Today it lost 10% in 6 hours ... doing nothing

It was holding way better, have done full ironman and lost maybe 30% , using the default watch face never change it, i am not bothered at all with it. I already replaced one watch which had other issues with cadence lock. I guess i am overthinking it
to summarize my case, 1 month after the (in)famous 27.09:
before 27.09 resilience 14-15 days
after 27.09 resilience 7.92-9.24 days
Before and after usage is absolutely the same so there is no other explanation but the firmware update for this catastrophic reduction
yes, same problem on 965
I may know what is happening. If I restart (Cycle off and on) the watch after an activity I do not loose power faster anymore. I think something is not being turned off after you stop an activity. For me I think it may be my heart rate brodcast.
I agree 100/100. Not by menu but by pressing the top left button.
I noticed the problem after doing for the first time non-gps activities. Treadmill and elliptical due toman injury, so I cannot test run activity.
I think you'll find that fix is only temporary. I have done the same. After a few hours the drain begins again.
Not for.me.Dave. it's been properly working for 6 days now and I am on 42% battery. I installed battery graph from iq connect and I monitor the behaviour. Cheers.
Do you use any CIQ datafields in that activity? Or is it a CIQ app that you used to record the activity? I am a CIQ developer and a few of us are trying to find a similar battery drain issue with some of our apps
Okay doing inside non GPS activities each burned at 1% per hour. If I turned the watch off and on after the activity it used about 7% per day. Today I did not reset the watch and it continued to use 1% per hour of the battery after my activity. Garmin has definately left something on after the activty ends. My activities use BT for heart rate broadcast and does not use GPS. It also gets trainer telemtry from my tacx bike.
I have 2.72/h since last charge (this includes 1.5 hour of GPS running with the Multi band GNSS setting and some walking with the simple GPS)
