The manual says "Select to turn off the screen for alerts, gestures, and Always On Display mode" and it works fine while I wear the watch. Gestures don't activate the screen, just touch and button presses. But if the watch has been sitting on my desk and I move it or pick it up the display comes on. It's not an accidental touch; button press or hr sensor reading. I have AOD disabled and I'm on the latest FW, 26.08
It seems like a bug / oversight that it's behaving differently in this situation. I think that it should behave the same as on my wrist and that the display should remain off? I tested and it stays off for alerts.
